Crime vs Deviance
Crime and deviance in society are closely related but mean two separate things. Crime is the violation of a law set by society. Deviance is the violation of the cultural norm. Most of the time the two are separate but sometimes they describe the same thing. Some examples of crime would be murder or theft. An example of deviance would be having a lot of tattoos or piercing or wearing strange clothes. An example of both would be wearing inappropriate clothing or drinking alcohol.

Good job on explaining the difference between what a crime is compared to what deviance means. Good examples as well. I have a better understanding of what the two mean.
